But wait, there’s more! In the back of Close Quarters you will find two lists. The first list includes all of the books mentioned in the story. As a book lover it was important to me to share stories that influenced the characters, especially since books were so important to their grandmother and the heavily influenced the creation and success of the bookstore.

The second list is of the many La Crosse area businesses that show up in the story. If you click HERE you can download a copy of the bookmark that gives you a check list of experiences, so that you can live out the story yourself!

In addition to these extras, I have also prepared a list of questions for book club discussion. You can download the questions HERE. If you’d like me to visit your book club, email me and we can work out the details. Happy reading!
